Today we are going to talk about Strava.

Strava is a fitness app that keeps track of your runs, hikes, bike rides and any other exercise.

Strava created a map to show where people were using Strava when exercising.

Strava created a map to show where people were using Strava when exercising.

And this is a secret military base in Yemen. So, why is this secret base not a secret anymore?

Strava’s map accidentally showed us where it is.

A 21-year-old Australian student started posting about the secret bases on Twitter.

    How did he know?

The running shown in this picture is done in the shape of a building in the middle of a desert.

Another problem is that Strava shows the top 10 runners for each route.

One person on Twitter said he was able to follow a French person, from the secret base, to his home in France using the information on Strava’s website.

This could let you send a soldier a present… or something else.

Strava did have an option to stop them from sharing your information inside the app…

So, be sure to read the agreement when you download an app.
